Who is he?
Neven Maguire is an award winning restauranteur and media personality. He is one of Ireland's most famous chef's and is known for his incredible MacNean Restaurant and House, his 12 cookbooks and his TV show 'Home Chef'. He studied catering in Fermanagh College in Enniskillen and won 'Student of The Year' while studying there. When Neven was in his 20's he was named Eurotoques 'Young Chef of The Year 1999' and also won many 'Chef of The Year' awards.

Neven has represented Ireland in the 'World Cuisine Competition' in Lyon, France. Since then, he has been achieveing awards and was more recently awarded Food and Wine Magazine Awards 2015 'Hall of Fame' for all his years in the culinary sector. Neven has even went on to work for some of the worlds top restaurants such as Arzac, San Sebastian, Spain. He became head chef/owner of the MacNean House and Restaurant in 2001 and has been running it ever since. Neven is known for spreading awareness about Irelands highest quality food producers and he is also very committed to helping young chefs to develop their career and skills.
